New awesome series, can't wait to see what comes next.

I just purchased and read the first four books in this series, and I read them all within two days. I could not put them down. There is nothing really new in these books, but they are VERY well written. There are very few errors, which is definitely a plus, since it seems lately that every book I buy in this genre is riddled with spelling and grammar errors which just totally throw you out of the story. That is definitely not the case with these. I don't want to give too much away, so I'm just going to say that this series has definitely become a fast favorite for me, and I can't wait for the next books that the author has planned. She just became a sure auto-buy author for me.

Finn is the fourth book in Catherine Lievens’s Whitedell Pride series.

After Nolan and Casey ride off into the sunset, we finally get to the relationship that has been building since book one. The one between Nix (Water Fae) and former lab rat, Finn and cougar shifter Bryce, former boyfriend to Keenan. From the moment they met everyone knew they were fated to be together. Bryce, just had to get his head out of his behind. Bryce fancies himself still in love with his former boyfriend. Of course one relatively tame come-to-Jesus meeting with his alpha and Bryce finally sees the error of his ways. The next second he is head-over-heels and ready to mate with Finn.

Finn is the embodiment of everything I dislike about the fated mate trope insta-love and the lack of free will. Bryce and Finn didn’t fall in love because they should be together. They fell in love because they have to be together. In the end, there was no other choice. It took all the suspense and interest from the love story.

The subplot of the illegal labs is continued as we find out more about how Finn found himself in the lab as well as some information important to tracking the labs.

If you have enjoyed the series to this point, you won’t want to miss this installment. It both moves the story forward and finds a HEA for two characters from the first book.

My company is producing this show

This is a sometimes humorous, sometimes poignant, always humane exploration of ADHD, and our general distractedness (is that even a word??) as a culture, with our various devices -- phones, computers, TVs, iPads, etc. As the artistic director of a professional theater company (Tennessee Women's Theater Project), I read many plays -- and choose to produce very few of the ones I read. The topic is very timely. It contains adult language -- some of it spoken by 9 year old Jesse -- which may put some folks off. But the play is very engaging, and most of the profanity uttered by Jesse comes from an off-stage voice, so no one has to watch a little boy (who as the author's notes explain, "has a mouth on him") repeatedly use the f-bomb. I highly recommend this play.

Great Play for parents

If you have ever or are currently dealing with the ups and downs of navigating a diagnosis of ADHD for your child this will make you think while you laugh and maybe cry a little. Loved this play enough to purchase the script.

Sally Clarkson began her homeschooling journey in 1984 and will soon graduate the youngest of their four children. Since 1994, Sally and her husband, Clay, have ministered to families across the United States and overseas through Whole Heart Ministries, speaking to churches, organizations, and groups that share their heart for strengthening families to follow God with their whole hearts and minds. Uplifting and encouraging

Staying home and educating your kids can be wonderfully isolated from the crazy world. Sometimes that isolation doesn't seem so wonderful. This book was so encouraging. I continue to refer back to it when I am losing the wind in my sails. It reminds me why my work with my kids is so important. It lifted my spirits knowing others had walked this path before me and finished the race. It calms my spirit to know that through the winter, I can always depend to the spring to come again. I am not the only woman out here struggling. I can endure.

I recommend this for Moms who have homeschooled for years, and are tired and struggling to continue. I also recommend it for those just beginning the journey.

life changing

In a very dark place I read these words. And like light at the end of the tunnel I began to walk toward what I had forgotten - that this journey is not about me, its about the Lord and His work in our family. I am so thankful that Sally took the time to record her thoughts and struggles along her walk, as well as what the Lord taught her in each season. This is my favorite homeschool book and one that I refer everyone to. Truly it inspires and turns your eyes back to the Lord.

If you have forgotten the whys of the choices you have made to homeeducate and you just need to sit with an encouraging friend for while and cry and remember, this is your book.

Just finished reading this. It is very good!! Sally Clarkston is very real and open. She talks about the ups and downs of Mothering. The Joys and the sorrows. What she should have done differently and despite it all things still turned out great. She makes you stop and think about Mothering. What is Mothering? Where are you at in your Mothering? It's interesting to look at each chapter of Mothering as a season. Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. While reading her book you won't feel like you are being talked down to or that you don't quite hit the mark. I came away feeling encouraged and renewed and ready to try again.

If you need some encouraging in your Mothering - - I would recommend this book.

A near-perfect historical instrument method

This is one of the best method books I've seen for a historical instrument. Every essential topic is covered: tuning, intonation, articulation, fingering, baroque & classical ornamentation (fingering for trills off of each note, for instance). Period sources (notably Quantz, plus several others) are quoted frequently. There is also a good discussion on the differences between different historical models. Plus there is a wealth of exercises and tunes from the period. While not pretending to be complete in every sense, this is far superior to many methods I've seen for recorder and other instruments. It's also quite affordable.

The book has great instruction at your fingertips to start learning the one-keyed flute. There is so much here! But it's not bogged down with copious trivia. This book is especially helpful for the Boehm flutist who wishes to transition into some baroque flute playing. When you purchase this volume, you'll have everything you need (apart from the instrument itself!) to get started, and also to avoid injury to your hands and fingers through incorrect position or over-practicing. Wonderful, sound advice clearly presented.

Baroque Flute Method

This is an excellent book that has become a standard in learning the baroque flute. From care of the instrument to the proper approach to trills and vibrato it is a must for anyone interested in learning how to play one-key flute. I only wish there was a part II.
