Potential, maybe for a second version?

This book is useful as a general outline of material for what might be on the 1z0-146 exam. I've read it cover to cover and found consistent poor grammar, incorrect tense, and poor word choice in almost every other sentence. I often found myself rereading a section and then asking myself "what??" and then I had to revert to online documentation or Oracle PL/SQL Programming: Covers Versions Through Oracle Database 11g Release 2 (Animal Guide) for a more thorough explanation of a topic. E.G. "Data security has always been a questionable criterion for a solution which promises data repository." - Ch 5. If it were not for this problem then I would have given the book four stars.
I think if the publisher has an editor who is both an Oracle and English language expert proof-read and basically re-write this book, retaining the same content but with improved readability, then the final product will be excellent.
If you are desperate to pass the 1z0-146 exam then this is probably still worth having, but not worth keeping on the shelf once you've passed the exam.

Excellent book that covers basic concepts to more advanced. I recommend to all who wish to learn what is most advanced in the case of PL / SQL.
This book is useful as a general outline of material for what might be on the 1z0-146 exam(
anyway just to support the LEARNING its good have the Oracle documentation from OTN or ORACLE.com )
I've read it , and found inconsistent poor grammar ( in some chapters) , and poor word choice in several chapters .
Perhaps if the publisher re-write this book, retaining the same content but with improved readability, then the final product will be excellent!!!!!!.
The book in my opinion is a great book , but with grammar errors , If it were not for this problem then I would have given the book five stars.

Very useful book

This book covers all the basic concepts of PL/SQL and found it to be very useful for PL/SQL beginners like me, with very little prior exposure. It is extremely useful for the izo- 146 exam and is a good material to trust for exam. I recommend this book to everyone/anyone preparing for the exam.
